I've decided I'd try and return to PR after a ~1 year hiatus. Wiped PR 1.2 from my system and installed the latest version. I didn't have any problems with the download or installation process, but I can't seem to launch PRLauncher without getting a "Project Reality: BF2 Launcher has stopped working" error message.
I have tried the basics, reinstalling the game, running in comparability mode and as an administrator. I'm still getting the same error message.
The PRBF2.exe application does launch and take me into the game, although obviously I can't do anything with that given that you need to launch with the launcher.
I'm assuming my next step is to completely remove the game, download from scratch and hope for the best? (I've avoided this simply because my download time is ~18 hours)
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
P.S I don't have a log to post seeing as I can't even get into the PRLauncher without crashing.
