Try deleting your PR profile (Edit: entire folder) in my documents and retrieving it again.

Tried deleting from local folder. Could not retrieve, so created a new profile. Same error..

Update 21.25: so yeah, I did apparently not delete all the folders. My dearest GF just read the thread and told me this (flushing here) I did, retrieved my profile, and yes, its working again!

Thanks allot Tavor!

I'm having this same problem and deleting my profile forces me to retrieve my old profile, and when I do, I get the same error message when trying to start the game..

Posting this as it helped someone else...

So you guys experiencing this 'Symlinks not allowed' error - have you redirected your My Documents away from its usual location to somewhere like say like another physical drive or to OneDrive?

A way to check would be to go to C:\Users\BigNoob\Documents\ - do you see your personal pictures of your flaccid pink friend?

If you do not see your files then you have done redirection to another location, and this is the issue affect PR.
