Came back to PR after uninstalling a while ago to find that the game now likes to freeze every couple minutes for 15-20 seconds making it unplayable. Not sure why this happens as it never did before and no other game has this problem.

Do you have a sound card?

Conexant smart audio HD. This is a lenovo laptop so im sure its an integrated soundcard

how do you know about bit defender?

Trust his judgement. Very likely its an antivirus scanning things. Especially likely with a 2.00Ghz CPU.

The Mumble process "steals" your position from the game process. Since this isn't done in a way where both processes "agree" to it, it raises the suspicion of your anti virus.

instead disabling av every time I play PR?
