hi i just returned to PR after a break of almost 1 year i downloaded the game - and tried to

enter the most populated servers (HOG clan , pRTA Clan ) and to my surprise i was banned from both .. first thing i did is to of course ban appeal to both servers - the prta team told me

that they sorry it was a mistake and i had a collusion with a banned player and they lift my ban so it all good but the HOG team told me that the only way to fix it is to join the same server as the banned player and then the Hash key will automatically change .. now i dont know what to do can you help me maybe can you give a me a new key ...

You dont have to be on same server, just play at same time, but that does not help often since the guy originally banned probably does not play anymore (cause he banned ). We provided solutions to server admins to help solve these issues without having to unban the original perpetrator. PRTA might be using these, but HOG does not seem to. Right now you have to resolve this with HOG I am afraid

what solutions did you provide us? You state one solution in your post but secretly say there is another one that you don't state here and that prta is doing it.

in fact, this is your last post in the thread that was created about hash collisions:

"Since 1.5.3 colliding hashes are meant to regenerate their hash. This however only happens if there is an actual collision, so if they play at same time. When they are not playing at same time it is impossible for us to tell whether they are different players or just different accounts of same player. Long story short, they should slowly get less, but might still happen."

So could you fill us in on what you gave prta to fix this and not us? What can we do to help you deliver that to the other server admin teams from other communities?

ah yes, thank you, i remember wanting to wait to see if it worked as the thread has been dormant since the 1st of this month with only one, prta i believe testing it.
