I run an old 2500k so use an 1155 motherboard, what I don't understand is why one of the big manufacturers doesn't still make a board.
As I think most people can appreciate the sandy/ivy bridge is still a decent system and in the event of mobo failure I am looking at 500 to change mobo/CPU/RAM. I would have thought if a decent Z77 was available new it would sell in huge quantities.
There is one H61 on Bangood but according to YT they are a bit flaky...

Yes and no.
In order to replace my system with a CPU equivalent to my 2500k plus a mobo plus 16GB of ram will be upwards of 500, given I am happy with its performance I am frustrated that for the sake of a 100-200 mobo I have to change the whole thing.
