Hey guys, so I've got a problem. After I press "Play" screen goes black after a while (on full screen) and after 2-3 secs it crashes and leaves me with feedback "PR:BF2 has closed, cleaning up resources..." in window mode feedback is:

I've also tried to install DX9, but it says that I cannot install on win 10 and 1024x768 is the smallest resolution I can pick.

Run windowed and see if you get an error message.

Check this out.

Let us know what actually fixed the issue.

This error is caused by:

None of these doesn't work, I couldn't find CustomModeApp on my laptop.
But I reminded myself that I had pretty same issue in Metin2, where I had to connect my laptop to TV or monitor for a time, when game was starting and now it worked as well.
So if somebody will have this issue, connect ur laptop with HDMI to TV or monitor on time of starting the game. After it's loaded - disconnect HDMI and u are ready to play.

Thanks for support, see you on battlefield ! :-o
EDIT:
Well I was happy to fast. I got sound in intro, but in lobby and in game there's no sound :x

Yeah match your computer's resolution to the games at the moment they're not.

Pretty sure this happens when your monitor doesn't support 800x600@60hz. The engine defaults to this and then loads your real resolution. See if you can add that resolution in your (probably) Intel driver control panel

I tried the game on my desktop PC, it works. You are right, but is there a solution for this? Can I somehow play it on my laptop which is a better rig than my pc. Also, it seems there are no options for inputting custom res through my nvidia control panel. Any other way?

Thanks, btw, for your answer.

NVidia Control Panel -> Change resolution -> customize.
No idea if this actually helps.

That's how it's usually done, however my laptop only has the 3D settings in Nvidia C.P.
so there is no way of changing the resolution or customizing it. That is the main problem, no way of going bellow 1024x768.
