Coop Round Start Delay Issue

Post by X0R »

Hi, so i've been trying to add a round start delay in local coop &

Code: Select all

C['STARTDELAY'] = 600
for instance in realityconfig_coop.py doesn't seem to have any effect, so i'm wondering what if any way there is to add a start delay when running coop other than the value specified in the coop config, if that's even possible, perhaps it's not with bots & if not, i think the option should be removed from that config if it has no effect on coop...

As to my motive, it's simply to be able to !swapteams when running coop, unless there's an alternative way to specify the side when using !setnext.

Cheers.

I don't think there's a way to get the bots to switch teams.

not sure why startdelay isn't working. maybe config_local takes priority

I tried all relevant configs, common,coop,local, it's like startdelay isn't supported for coop at all. Onto other options i suppose.

I also tried, \mods\pr\settings\serversettings.con & <profile>\serversettings.con and all modifications to the prior are completely ignored while the later hardly provides any worthwhile options.

I suspected as much, i hoped i was wrong,so is there any possible alternative, such as assigning bot factions for next map perhaps, after setting next map then,i looked through the AD framework manual & couldn't find any solution beyond !swapteam, which of course is irrelevant now i suppose.

And i know coop is a low priority subsystem but the ability to designate team factions for next map if not a possibility, should be considered, as it expands replayablility in general but especially in coop.

I'd also appreciate a link to the RealityAdmin documentation or even config file structure as it's no where near as well documented as it was, as the AD framework.
