An excellent change. I was sceptical how much of an impact this would have but I think its actually a medium-heavy impact on Medic play.
From what little I've played so far it seems like:
- Bodies being glitched and unable to be revived is basically a thing of the past.
- The act of physically dragging a friendly to safety is an evocative and cool thing to be able to do.
- It doesn't increase the solo utility of the Medic kit; you are slow and vulnerable whilst dragging so you ideally need squad mates to support you. This is good.
- It adds a unique new tool to the game without completely revamping things; in other words I don't think the Medic was broken but this is a fix that has enriched Medic play without taking anything away.

Best feature ever.
There exist an AAA Company who saled their new frostbite engine and included this feature only in SINGLEPLAYER. We have that now in a 15 year old game.
I have only positive experience with dragging wounded soldiers.
You have not anymore that waste of epipens because bodies stucking into a wall, chairs, tables whatever.
All revives are 100% successfully after dragging. No exceptions. Tested. My first intentional teamkill on our server without ending in a unbanrequest.
No dissapointed players who have to spawn far away from the squad because he stucked in a object and couldn't get revived.
Medic now feels more safety todo his job without ending in blackscreen.
Could we add the dragging function also to the unarmed kit?
I could write here a wall of text why it should be implemented but when all here using their common sense it would make sense.

Pretty well said this is AWESOME !
I was thinking if the Dragging function could be something EVERY units could do and not just the medic I mean if the medic is out nobody can drag him on cover until he drop his kit. It would emphasize team play because you definitely need some cover when doing so and I mean in real life every soldiers learn to drag his brother to cover once he is hit right?
This function is really one of the best thing in 1.6 indeed ! Would be awesome if every body could drag bodies to cover waiting for the doc to do his job no? Sometime task loading on a medic in the trenches (Omaha for example) is intense and would be amazing to see other people taking part in the « keep the squad alive » way of life

I honestly wish everyone could do it. But other than that, great feature!

Not really. It is still possible that body is stuck for example in wall and you can't move it.

I think dragging bodies when HOLDING the left click is better than just selecting "Drag".
Right know if i have Drag selected, i cant click and drag bodies (the body just jump a little when i click), i need to select another weapon, aim at the body, and select Drag to drag the body.
Also, we we should be able to drag bodies while laying doum.

There should be a 5% chance you get back problems so simulate realism

Oh bodies can most certainly get stuck - though i agree that it seems rarer. But so far i have not encountered anyone unrevivable.
As danesh said the way you drag is a bit awkward it would be more intuitive to click and hold. But i have a slight suspision that there's some coding BS that make this not possible.
I'm not sure why the messages pop up on the screen? This seems kind of weird for PR, you do not have that message when healing someone for example? If you drag someone you should know who it is through mumble, not by some message.
While I think it would be cool if everyone could drag i'm not sure I have decided on this point yet - gameplay wise. I need to play more.

It is great feature!
I hope that it is global test of dragging and every class of soldiers will make it in the nearest patch!

Every player should be able to assist in creating casualty collection points during mass casualty situations. The medic should be able to triage from cover, not risk becoming a casualty himself jeopardizing the entire unit.
Also, if possible, initiating this function with the left mouse button after selecting it would make it ubiquitous with using all the other items and functions available.

Yeah, noticed too … and than i found out that you cannot drag dead dead bodies and i was trying to drag the the wrong body but his local voice in mumble confused me because the voice came right from this spot. Are you sure you was dragging the correct body?
Still not encountering any stucked wounded soldier body dragging problems.

Also, dragging enemy bodies is very REALISTIC and people do that irl!

It would cool if the next drag iteration (if changed to 'LMB') included an alternate option ('RMB') for the "fireman carry" that is more exposed [standing] but faster [walking speed] for rescuing casualties farther away from medics.
This is a nifty pick-up technique plus a bonus drag technique at the end of the video which is worth watching for the joke:

Awesome feature. I was sceptical at start but it adds more depth to the medic role as a whole. Very cool stuff, I think its full potential will be brought out with time.
We were playing Fallujah AAS and as I killed people peaking the corner with a grenadier so there was like four ragdolls in the same place. Their medic started dragging them behind the corner one by one, it was pretty morbid. Epic immersion.
