An unhandled exception has occured.

My current laptop had died so in order to pass the time in quarantine, I decided to install it on my mid 2010 13" MacBook Pro in Windows 7 via Bootcamp.

When launching the game, I got a critical error.

'An unhandled exception has occured. Details are as follows:

Could not load file or assembly 'System.Threading.Tasks,
Version=1.5.11.0, Culture=neutral,
PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a' or one of its dependencies.
The system cannot find the file specified.'

What can I do to fix the error and get the game running?

Uninstall Microsoft .NET completely, then install it again.
