Currently, there is no sense in this rifle if it has no zoom.
Most experienced players prefer use Crewman kit gun (
MP5A3) instead of G3 that has no zoom ...

It looks funny some time watching when entire team is playing as crewman-s against team that uses all range of guns ...

Recoil of this gun make it useless if it has no zoom.
G3 fail in close combat. And most combats in the game where default G3 has no zoom are at close range.
So this makes big imbalance between teams.

Never had much of an issue with it in CQB, even held my own with it against the famas.

The G3 with iron sight or collimator, is really good in CQB. Even scope variant is good, you just need to hip fire it.

more recoil but more damage is fine BUT if hitreg eats bullets you will lose cqb against 800rpm guns for sure.
Same goes for shotguns.

Iron sights G3 is one of my favorite weapons in the game. Great at CQB and at medium range. Just takes a little bit of practice to get use to the iron sights. I don't see why not having a scope should affect recoil for any gun.

Well, even though I personally think g3 is fine balance-vise, I would love to see SL/Breacher alt kits feature ironsights/red dot and a foregrip, like with polish kits.

G3 for CQB is trash, specially when fighting against teams with high rpm weapons and low recoil (M4/m16/ar variantes/famas)

We wont decrease recoil based on the optics and there were enough threads about high RPM guns already. Locked.
