Crash

Hi,

For couple of weeks now I have been experiencing a lot of CTDs that always happen whenever I either enter or am in an optics mode, wether it be an asset, rifle, static AT gun, UAV or mortars. So far it doesn't seem to be map or terrain specific as it has happened on 4k desert maps as well as on forest maps, although it does crash more often on heavy forest maps. Crashes happen most of the times at random moments after being in an optic mode for a while but have also happened the moment I try to aim. Sometimes I can play for hours without an issue and other times it crashes 3-4 times during one round.

One recurring thing that I can think of is that crashes have so far always happened when I have been looking down angle.

Unfortunately ProcDump fails to provide a dump file after the crash. I currently have no AV active.

Hopefully someone here can help me out with this issue.

Thanks,

TED(F)

Show output from procdump. There's nothing I can do without a dump.

procdump fails to create a dump. "dump count not reached".

Are you using all these?

Code: Select all

procdump.exe -ma -b -e 1 -g prbf2.exe

procdump.exe -mm -b -e 1 -g prbf2.exe as provided here https://www.realitymod.com/forum/showth ... p?t=147961

Should I use -ma instead?

No that part won't matter.
Anti virus issues a possibility? Can you replicate?
Anything in prlauncher.log?

Currently don't have any AV active.

Just crashed on albasrah while in UAV. prlauncher.log produces :

Code: Select all

Project Reality Log File
PRLauncher.exe started at: 2020-08-05T13:01:14

Warning: 1353: Error while game running.
procdump gave the same error as before
