You should be able to just run the ".prpatch" file.

The launcher is in mods/pr/bin folder. If its not there, your anti virus deleted it.

I can launch "Prlauncher.exe" but can't get past the login prompt. If I try to login it will pull up the update prompt. If I select update it will pull up the update progress screen and the 1201 error message. If I try to "play offline" it will enter an endless "checking for updates" popup.

I thought I might try the manual update option but I don't know what the download directory is without getting to the launcher. Can you tell me the default pathway?

Thank you

Patches get downloaded to %LOCALAPPDATA%\Project Reality\Project Reality BF2\Downloads
If nothing is there, try downloading it manually from here https://www.realitymod.com/forum/showth ... p?t=125178

Gentleman,

Could not locate the %LOCALAPPDATA% folder but nevertheless have met success. Just tried rerunning the update and today it worked and game launched.

Thank you for the help.
