i need help with mumble i did the configurations for the mic including wizard i play on windows 10 and in the right corner the mic icon has red arrow together its disconnected when i press v or b i cant see the squad chat and local chat how can i fix this i did everything please help me

Have you checked that ALL the shortcuts in the launcher settings matches the shortcuts under « configure » in the tray ( try reset all settings in the tray before changing them there)

i did checked their the same

i did check there already same i edited and nothing happened still the same

Try: launch mumble directly from the launcher , reset to default, apply, close it, then set keys through the launcher

Do you have wireless headset? Seems they’re fucky too

i did that and still not working and i dont use wireless headset my headset type is steelseries

You might try disabling exclusive control for your headset (mic and speakers).

1. Open Windows Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Sound
2. Then, find your headset under Playback AND Recording, and for each, open Properties
3. Under the Advanced Tab, uncheck the box for "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device"

It could be that another program on your PC has already taken exclusive control of your headset, or maybe it's just not playing nice in Win10 for whatever reason. This is a good troubleshooting step to try for any issues regarding a speaker/mic not functioning as normal in any program that uses them (mumble, TS3, Discord, etc.)

You sure about that, bro? I'm from the same country, and USA does not block mumble afaik. Did you mean that his specific ISP in USA was blocking mumble?

(If so, @leafy which ISP are you with, if you don't mind the ask? I know Spectrum is getting spanked for years of bs in NYC, and rural ISP's are downright reprehensible in some areas... It's one thing that keeps me from moving out of the Big Shity up to the mountains to live a proper Hermit Life.... that, and the snow up there)
