Hallo folks,

I have the newest version checked in singleplayer, but when I connect over to the steam online page and after allowing the pop up it says critical error 138: key error!! I run on win7.

Should steam be running? Should it be the same name on my steam account as my PR account and the same name in the PR client itself??
Also tried running as admin, always key error 138!!!

Any help? Also any help on how to get more fps? BF2 vanilla was running smoothly tho

You are on a very old version, update.

Under the Play Button is checking for new updates, clicked on it and it says I am already running the latest version...

Reinstall, that error doesn't exist anymore.

You don't need the steam software, just an account.

I just installed yesterday so I assume I have newest version.
I also saw in the support area of the client my ID is: "00000000000....." while my accounts ID on PR is "105882"...

Then you're not using an online account.

What do you mean? I registrated otherwise I couldn't post a thread in the forum?
Or is there another registration for an online account of Project Reality?

Open the launcher, click "sign in with Steam".
Forum accounts are not relevant.
You do not need the steam app running, or even installed. You need a Steam account.

I have a steam account which is public!
But when I press sign in with steam check your browser. Browser opens and I log in with steam.. (succsesfully). On the the following page I have to allow the pop up message and thats when the error from the client pops up. 138 key error

Install the updates manually:

when Patch was done at 100% it said cannot connect verification server...

Edit: I hope it works after I changed the DNS adress manually, I read it should solve it..
