Why do you remove good maps like archer in favor of bad maps like korengal?

I loved archer. It was a good fun map. It was the only hilly map I liked. Korengal on the other hand is fucking dogshit. I dont care if there's a movie about korengal. The map is impossible and unfun because the terrain is so rough and jagged and it's impossible to go anywhere on foot. If you're gonna remove a map, remove korengal next.

Archer (also my favorite map) was most unplayed map in game. Korengal 3 times more played map in game.

We can't tell the devs what to do sadly, we can only make a suggestion. Honestly alot of '1km' maps can hit the hay. They are so underplayed and I'll say atleast 63%-78% of people hate them.. That includes Ghost Train, Tad Sae Offensive, Mestia (To a point), Hill 488, Korengal (of course) and Merville. Which means only 3 1km maps will exist if those maps are removed. (Gaza, Reischwald and Asad Khal)

I'll be honest with you, Korengal needs an update, that map is old, it needs some smoothing out of the terrain, because it has so many jagged edges that you can only get out of the river at like 6 specific points on the entire map if you fall off.

In terms of Archer, I can't remember the exact reason, other than being underplayed, as to why it was removed. If I can recall it was because massive skewed towards the Counter Insurgent side (Canada in most cases) because they all had scopes when the taliban had none at all other than a few spotters, marksman and sniper which were almost always unavailable.

Personally, I think 1k's are attractive (again) because of Gungame and the potential that could bring for server seeding or just as an intro for new players to get some action.

Korengal is based on actual battle emulating the terrain of those mountains, USA left that region because of terrain. The trouble with terrain wasnt worth holding it in Taliban advantage territory. Operation Archer is not based on anything to my knowledge... Archer was 4 kilo map, 300 meter grid squares with no camouflage. Traveling on Operation Archer was worse than Korengal.

The Korengal terrain needs to be smoothed over so its less jumping, but its like that slow uphill walk where its hard to get up. Too much being winded by gear from jumping, speed is on point for climbing with gear, its just nobody should have to jump that much where its not a guarantee that the jump goes forward and slipping off rocks. Korengal has set goat paths easy to walk across whole map that give access to these different jagged rock areas. Stick to the paths to travel to chosen jagged areas, dont travel the jagged areas. It terraces up like Incan farming. The highest point above Restrepo is perfect example.

PLEASE don't remove Korengal. It gives variety to the game and IMO can be a lot of fun. In general I like 1K maps, not sure what the problem is (not enough assets maybe? Some people care so much about their assets)

In my opinion, they do not play great whit full servers in most cases.
