Then I found PR: BF2, one of my favourite mods of the game. So I have D/L the 10GB 1.6.6.0 version and have it ready to go but...Should I remove the other version? it is not working and there are issues in the Documents area.
I don't want to end up with a whole heap of issues because of double entries and version types. I figure a clean install of one type is the best solution. Additionally, there are the benefits of the mods, maps and of course the non-vanilla gameplay.
This is a cut down version of the specs of the unit I am using for gameplay if it helps to understand what is what in the big scheme of things. Sorry, it is still long-winded but I was not sure how much more to delete without affecting the core values.
