Hey all! It's been awhile since I've played PR (stopped in 2019) and I have a question I've been wanting to ask for awhile:

I've put thousands of hours into PR back when I had my old laptop and when I got my new laptop back in 2019, I came across the infamous 800x600 display error. I was at a loss during that time and I figured I'd just give up and put the game under wraps for awhile.

Now fast forward to 2022 I came back to see how the game was doing and I had that glorious itch to redownload and try again, to no avail, the 800x600 error occurred but this time I actually sought help and googled the problem. Found out the fix but to my unfortunate surprise my new laptop can't support 800x600 which the BF2 requires for startup. Feeling yet again saddened, I saw some last year forum post where the devs would "hack out" the error so people like me can play without 800x600 support.

So my question is if this a still planned feature? Or is it already in the game or, heck, is there a bypass? Really curious and any insight would be helpful!

(I really miss this game haha)

We put it on the backlog because none of us had machines that could replicate this issue.
If you can send me a dump of it, I can try to create a workaround.

run as admin with:
procdump.exe -mm -b -w -t PRBF2.exe
