Tried on Xiangshan the other day and it didn't float.
These guys and these guys are saying it should be amphibious, which makes sense, cause it's based off of M113. Have to look up in official sources though.

Considering that the M548A1 was developed on the basis of the M113A2 it intrinsically had no ability to swim since the A2 models are when they became too heavy to remain amphibious.
