Error 1324 - Display Mode is Not Supported.

Post by Yparks »

I'm trying to play on an older, but still pretty strong laptop, never ran PR on it before. I've tried several solutions and nothing:

- I've tried to reset all profiles
- I've changed the refresh rate in the Docs/Project Reality/Profiles/0001 to match my screen 50hz
- I've changed the screen resolution to 800x600
- I've updated the graphics driver to the newest available

I think it's because the native refresh rate is 50hz. I can't change it through the windows 10 menu. I'm aware of another thread about "Power Strip" being able to create a driver.... or something like that. But I can't figure it out.

Have you tried creating a custom resolution with CRU? I don't know if your internal display can handle 60hz though since idk which laptop is this.

Just for the record, your APU (Kabini A4-5000) isn't really that fast in single threaded perf, so you might get lower than expected fps.

I've been playing this whole time. Game crashed a few minutes ago and when I try to load up now it gives me this error. Any suggestions?

Have you tried resetting your profile? Also check on your resolution settings for the profile. There's a good chance that the profile got corrupted during unexpected crashes.

FIXED! The fix for this error is to reset your profile OR create a new profile. Thank you for the response and good information. Just sucks having to remember my key binds as I don't use the standard WSAD. But it did fix the issue.
