Grozny: Conventional Layer

Imagine Grozny, but each team gets 1 CAS chopper.

Um, maybe RUS vs MEC. Or RUS vs USA. I dunno.

Not only Grozny should get it but also other maps. I would love to see Al Basrah AAS since that map is pretty decent size with British main at India1 and MEC main at India13 (Insurgents as alternative AAS option)

Same for Dragon Fly with Polish/UK vs. Russia and all neutral flags

Kokan and Lashkar Valley could get light on assets AAS similar to Koreangal

It works with other maps (Fools Road as example) so would be cool for other maps, especially old one that are stuck with two same factions for years.

Like basrah back in the day? Man I'd kill to have the US marines back on that map. Have them back with their old gear too. M16A2s for all combat roles, Cobra and the LAV. And bring back the old insurgents team too, the one that was competent in PVP and had the T-55.

Stay on topic.

Difficulty with Grozny conventional is finding an appropriate conventional fue for RU.

Yep, Poland could be (forever probably) placeholder Ukr but MEC as Iranians probably would be more accurate geographically

Poland and Ukraine make no sense to me; how are they getting to the Georgian border?

How do you guys feel about US Army?

Honestly if anything Gronzy is a bit of a proxy map for something like Bakhmut (I'm just using that because current events).

US would be good in this sense, as a proxy map until Ukraine, then a map for them, appear.

What every Grozny layer needs tho:

Seriously, beyond the realism aspect, does anyone enjoy maps or variants of them that are dark/gloomy/gray?

I like the gimmick of a nightmap though some moonlight helps with that, but it just zaps the fun of it when its all gray weather. Plus it's like, all those gloomy maps are are fought in areas that are already gray/brown like Hades peak or Grozny.

If at least the houses were painted bright pink or something Id abide.

I enjoy these maps too by the way. I like the atmosphere and the immersion it brings.

Grozny is one of the most immersive maps in the game. You step into the city and you feel you are in hostile territory and could be sniped from any direction. I unconsciously move much slower and cautiously than I do on most other maps. Also the city layout just feels very real, apartments in the middle, single-family houses on the edges, farms outlying. Yeah

Grozny is a great map. "Finding an opponent" seems like a non-problem if you want to get a conventional layer on it.
