Have you installed DX9 redist? And please send your support info here, we don't know how to proceed without more info.

Edit: Looks like you posted some time ago, if you're still using the same hardware, then I guess you have to do procdump, send it here so the devs can take a look at it.

Slight edit to the procdump command, use "procdump.exe -w -mm -b -e 1 -g prbf2.exe" and then launch the game instead so it'll wait for the game.


Once you got the dump, upload it to google drive or mediafire and share the link here so the devs can take a look at it.

Unfortunately, we are not always able to identify what the issue is since we do not have access to the source code of the game. This is one of such instances. We have no idea what causes your crashes. I'm sorry.

im going to try and delete every single file of the game and reinstall it completely anew

how do i do that, i searched on google but it only tells me what it is and that it works for my safety and should not be turned off

Here are other things you could try to help us find the cause:
1. Install and run the debugger: https://www.realitymod.com/forum/showth ... p?t=123029
This creates log files in mods/pr/logs that might contain more data for us. If some assertion failure windows pop up, just press continue until either game opens or crashes

2. Try installing other BF2 mods/games to see if they work. For example FH2: https://playfh2.net/

Another user reported the same issue and there we found that his DirectX9 installation is corrupt. Please check C:\Windows\SysWOW64\D3DX9_43.dll and generate a hash of the file for us to ensure it is correct

i tried most of the stuff, but since im not good at it, it didnt give any good results, for now im going to wait and see if i can restore my pc to factory settings then give it a go again, im not going to do it yet, if anyone wants to help me through parsec ill happily give them access

i had to reset my pc, i guess the drivers could have also been the problem since i noticed, after i used the intel app to update my drivers i could no longer play, i noticed that after resetting though(btw english isnt my first language so probably there were somethings that i couldnt explain properly)
