Clicking "Start Installer" leads to 'prbf2_1.7.4.0_full' file

When I click Start Installer on the Download Assistant and it opens up the 'prbf2_1.7.4.0_full' file instead of installing. Am I missing something?

For more context if it helps the assistant is in a folder on an external drive.
