Error: 61 - v.1.7.4.2 - v.1.7.4.3

Hello! i could really use some help.

Trying to boot up PR again after a few months and the the game updated doesn't work as it used to. I've tried re-installing the game several times, latest version etc. It refuses to update through the launcher.

So i read about manually updating the game and it works fine untill i get to update v.1.7.4.2 and want to update to v.1.7.4.3

Everything seems fine until the very end of the update process where i get his exact message:

61: Acess to the path 'D:\Program Files (x86)\Project Reality\Project Reality BF2\rhooks.dll.patchtemp' is denied.

What do i do?

I have tried disabling my anti-virus, downloading the patch anew. Reinstalling game. Manual patching and it all stops at the v.1.7.4.2 - v.1.7.4.3 patch.

Please, please help me. I don't want to go back to squad.

Please check if your anti-virus quarantined the "rhooks.dll.patchtemp". We had other users report this during updating.
If the anti-virus did mess with the file, you can try to add an exception or pause the anti-virus while updating.

You're right! i tried everything with my anti-virus but it's windows protection that stopped me. It worked!
