PR Scoring

Post by {WC}HOTSTUFF »

I have played this game since inception. I am curious as to how scores are formulated. My decades search is equivalent to seeking the Holy Grail. My theory is that the original devs established a random number generator as a joke and it continues today. My questioning has always been stonewalled. Does a PDF or chiseled stone exist that defines the scoring formula? Does anyone know of a map that will assist me in my search? I would like my quest to be fulfilled before I expire.

The PR Manual has this listed:
Score
A player's score is divided in teamwork points and individual points. It speaks for itself that doing team related activities (building, driving vehicles, defending/attacking flags) contribute to the first and individual actions (killing players) contribute to your personal score.

The total score of a player can never go below 0 but the teamwork score can become negative. There are also score multipliers for when you are for example in a vehicle or a squad leader. Here are some other score additions and deductions. These are not all but give you a good idea on what you can achieve.
  • Capturing a civilian: +100
  • Killing a civilian (outside ROE): -100
  • Destroying your own objective: -100
  • Destroying enemy objective: +150

Thank you for the reply. However, what you lead me to is another smoke screen. I need to know the exact methodology of point scoring. IE. 2 points per minute for riding in a vehicle, 6 points for building mortars, 11 points for team kill. All data related to points are a generalization. I have had games where I am number 1 player being AFK for the round. The random number generator is still my pick.

Lets start a list of things we get points for, will update as I get confirmation. Points for instant and length of time events.

1.) Piloting or driving with passengers, the more the passenger, the more points + time.

2.) Sometimes suppression near enemy.

3.) Hitting an enemy to make him bleed under suppression 1-6 points

4.) Squad leader places FOB for 75 points for whole squad

5.) Making flag neutral 50 points

6.) Finishing the flag capture 50 points

7.) Killing an enemy sometimes the 8 or 10 points shows up immediately, sometimes not, like when killing insurgents or BLUFOR on INS.

8.) Destroying FOB

9.) Destroying cache

10.) destroying enemy vehicle

11.) long range sniper shot (used to be anywhere from 100 to 1000 points)

12.) shoveling 50% or 2 bars of a emplacement status bar 12 points.

13.) Capture Civilian +100

14.) Kill civilian score teamwork column set to -100 and personal score set to 0.

15.) Destroying civilian vehicle -30 to -60

16.) Dying alone away from squad or alone in vehicle -10 points

17.) Epipen player

18.) Heal player

The personal score column, then that teamwork column.

Things we need points for, like dropping 2nd crate in vicinity of FOB for Super FOB, crate you dropped being used to build a FOB, dropping ammo on asset. Getting arrested score set to same as BLUFOR for civilian kill 0 and -100.

If you are crewing an asset and die, you lose like 100pts or so. For example, I was gunning in an APC, and the APC blew up from an ATGM. Immediate -90pts
