AD Framework: Online Admin v2 (preview)

Post by AfterDune »

Here's a little preview for PROA, version 2 ;).

[early wip][/CENTER]

Some (new) features:
- Register multiple servers under one account
- Rights management (administrator/moderator usergroups)
- Moderators can't see the RCON password
- Manage a server's map rotation online
- Kick/ban players
- More server information available
- Players are displayed in two teams, instead of one long list
- Entirely new design
- ...

More to come soon!

Version 1

Perhaps this tool is more known to server admins. Here's a blog about the current version.

So it's an extension of the AD-Framework which we use right now. Good job. Keep working on it!

Yeah, sort of. It's a web application, so you don't have to start PR and get in-game to perform a command, like a mapchange, kick a player, etc.

It's webbased, you don't have to install anything ;). The AD Framework isn't needed when you're happy with BF2CC. It's meant for the countless servers that aren't :D.

God you are the man AfterDune. Just an update on the Virginia USA server -

I cleaned out BF2CC and ModManager last Monday the 21st. Since 3PM EST that day, our server has not crashed A SINGLE TIME nor has it dipped to 0 people. We've kept it at 64 people about 55% of the time and the other time at least 10 people. Your scripts are the only reason we are able to achieve this and we've grown in size and stature because of it. All of us at ]TAR[ (]TAR[ Tactical Assault Recon Clan Website) and our allies that run the server including TMP, [GS] Ghost Soldiers, and a few others thank you for your efforts thus far and your continued service and love of the communityl

I do have one request, well, actually, a general statement about how I use PROA:

I run the program on my Cellphone, and I love the ability to check the players and change the next map to keep it alive. However, the lack of logs and chat is my only real desire for the next version. I know online implementation and streaming of logs is no easy feat but if I have the right to have one request it would be logs that include chat and all pertinent SV info.

Thanks again!

Awesome, looks like it would be a huge improvement over the current Framework!

How do I do that???

I thought not using BF2CC was a case of simply not signing into it. Would mind sharing how you cleared out CC and mod manager with us pls.

Thanx.
