Since I'm stuck at uni with a lousy internet connection, I'm forced to play PR offline with a few of my uni mates. Unfortunatly, we found that skirmish maps were simply too large for a game of 2vs2, so I set about making something for us to game on.

I present to you THREE maps! Thats right guys, its a FUN MAPS PACK RELEASE! I can already see you jumping up and down with enthusiasm.

SHIPMENT

Based upon the Modern Warfare map, this map focuses on small packed firefights set in a fictional container yard.












DEAGLE

Based upon the CounterStrike community map, this again is featured in an industrial storage yard. The maze of crates leaves many different ways of flanking around any enemy, with a small central area to focus most of the fighting.













Subpen
From the Dice model, it's a slightly larger scale battle, suitable more to 5vs5, but still good fun.









THE SERVER

As I had such a good time gaming with some of my fellow friends, I bought a cheap 16 man server. It's details are as follows.

The server has been updated with specific rules. To accomodate the small size of the map, and because I've basically aimed for a CS style gameplay I've made a vareity of changes. Shorter spawn times, any kit requestable apart from specialist and AR, which I've blocked. If your an avid AR fan however, there is a pickup kit on each map that is perfect for you. They are really easy to find.

I'm doing a soft release to see what changes need to be made to the maps and server. If you could give feedback in this thread i would be most grateful!

whos playing in subpen?

Could you reupload to Filefront or Mediafire or another site that has instant download for free users? It's kinda annoying having to wait over a minute just to start a download for a few maps.

Definetly nice maps - however you might want to take out the Splinter Cell menu music again, since UbiSoft get pretty pissed if they see any of their content used otherwise than in their own games. A developer team who published a great mod in order to modernize the old and dusty RB6 RavenShield really got into some problems there.

I think PR should start making these small maps and allow players to host 16 or 8 people servers with these maps only!

They should put in a gungame mode (like the one in CSS) that starts off on the Chinese pistol or the Makarov, and you level up.

Final level should be melee with fists

That would be awesome, epic fistfights ftw!!

Some sort of CQC kit for all factions would be awesome, with an SMG as primary weapon

wow, reminds of ofp multiplayer, where all servers had tiny maps with 3 houses and proned game gurus with g36 rifles on every corner of the house.
