The Argies are coming!
[R-DEV]Spush has just finished work on the new player textures for the Argentinian faction for PR:Falklands
They have been made from the MEC player models and the US Vietnam kit geometries which all put together, with the new textures make some very nice Argentinian player models

Officer Alt:
Rifleman:
Medic:
Machine Gunner (Argie Rambo):
AA:
Engineer:
Marksman:
Pilot:
Crewman:
Cheers for reading and watch this space

AWESOME!!!
Txs guys for this!
i remember when i started with the idea with some other guys that i used to play with like 4 years ago:
http://www.realitymod.com/forum/f388-pr-bf2-community-modding/41158-proposal-falklands-mini-mod.html
ive lost contact with them since i stopped playing for lack of time, there is any of them involved in this development?
ill be back in the Battlefield to play this for sure!
Allow me just a suggestion, in order to balance things a little bit you may want to add the FM F.A.L PARA Model III License FN 7.62x51mm used by the Comando 601 Company with telescopic sight:
im really looking forward to play it, keep up the good work!

As for the white faces, perhaps but generally speaking Argentinians are generally quite white.
EDIT:
Have posted quite a few things here and there, although nothing recently if your referring to thatbessert;bt7504 wrote:Finally something to see!!

Don't think anyone from the Argentinian community is currently contributing to the project, other than possibly I think Alex might be working on recording some voices for the faction but I'm not sure on that one. It is an open project however with lots of things up for grabs by anyone in the community: http://www.realitymod.com/forum/f562-pr ... tasks.htmlmatias16739;bt7503 wrote:AWESOME!!!

As for your suggestion, scopes where a very uncommon thing back in 1982, and as such its pretty much all Iron Sights on the weapons ingame. However we are considering a scope like that on the FM FAL in the long term as the Argeis Marksman weapon, as the M14 wasn't really used as a Marksman rifle in the Falklands war (was used as a sniper rifle with a more powerful scope thou).

If you really want to help Voices might be the best place to do so, although you need very good recording equipment and ideally a sound proof room to do it in otherwise what you rec might not be usable. You will have to talk to a sound guy for more info on that.matias16739;bt7507 wrote:Ill try to get in touch with Alex to check if into something with the voices and try to help on that. But ye, I see you did some texturing tasks for your falklands mod, you might want to take on a texturing task from this list here?
