I think it's primarily ship launched, but ground-based launch systems exist.

But ye you guys are on the ball with Land Based Exocet Launcher, although still looking for its proper name and you guys have yet to catch the other hint for this object yet. I will give you a clue that its really subtle and its outside of the posts text and image, but is part of the post

Technically it is, although there is an Air Launched version too (which we have ingamein PR:F), but in some cases like this, the Ship Launched Versions where taken off their ships and mounted on new platforms to be used as shore based systems.

The thing outside the picture, I'm guessing, is either radar or a tractor vehicle.

You can drive this around with a Jeep/Truck and deploy it in the field?
