Community Update

As some of you might remember, last year we had to share concerning details regarding the situation of Project Reality. Our financial struggle left us no choice but to start a Kickstarter campaign to sustain the development of the game. Today, we can proudly declare that our goal has been reached. We are very grateful to our dedicated community, especially everyone who has donated or will do so in the future.




As we mentioned last year, reaching our goal would not only ensure the survival of Project Reality but also open new possibilities for the team to work on new and unique content. Today, we finally have the opportunity to share some of that content with you.

Space Battles

Project Reality can into Space! During the last few years, we have repeatedly received requests from the community, asking for a less realistic gamemode with more intensive combat. We decided to listen to your feedback and we are now releasing Space Battles! In this new mode, players will fight over a giant spaceship orbiting a habitable planet in the Andromeda galaxy.
We have worked tirelessly to give you distinctive weapons, such as TAR-5000S by [R-DEV]ANW1173, as well as WIST-10000 and QSZ-92000 by [R-COM]M.MCC. You will be able to enjoy new weapons on the Andromeda map and spaceship made by [R-DEV]Ason.

Donbas

Aside from Space Battles, we are also proud to announce the release of Donbas. It is a brand new map, set in modern-day eastern Ukraine. The map, together with multiple new assets, was designed by [R-DEV]Ason, while [R-CON]Kenzzan further enriched the map's eastern ukrainian atmosphere.

Unfortunately, with the end of winter, our Medelivka seasonal map has to go. We are certain it offered plenty of fresh experience and hopefully, you will soon be able to fight in its trenches and snowy forests all year round!


As usual, all the new content is accompanied by various bug fixes and quality of life improvements.

8962: Failed writing login cookie

Plz help

Fixed it by adding PRBF2.exe and PRLauncher.exe to "Allow an app through Controlled folder access" list.

This update is actually pretty good all things considered, but I ran into a bug on COOP Donbas :P
Upon selecting any of the layers of Donbas (Inf, Alt, Std) Nothing is shown for the map unlike if I selected it in the multiplayer menu, when I opened the map it showed a black screen for a lil bit, then it crashed and gave me this error:

Yeah had the same issue, aparently Windows 11 doing it's things...

Actually went through the list of recent blocked apps and found PR there, so I just removed it from there and now it works

Hello to all the developers, could you make more maps like Donbass? It would be very interesting to play on the maps where is it happening now? you could add a new faction like Ukraine and the fights would be more interesting, since the Russian community really wants this, you can also add different armbands to all countries, since sometimes you don't understand where your team is and where the enemy is (let's say the United States is at war with China, the United States has white armbands on its legs and arms and on the helmet, and China has blue or yellow armbands, it's definitely necessary), and I also wanted to ask you to make tags for ordinary soldiers, since only square ones can put tags and that's it, you can also add magnification on sniper rifles, if suddenly you are interested in something from this, then give to know. ;)

Hello, when I launch the Donbass map in offline mode, the game crashes for some reason, what should I do?
