For about 10mins earlier Me and a squad mate were working together.
Both were insurgents, I was a ambusher, he was civilian. I would hide in a building, or alleyway whilst he would remain in the open waiting for a brit to go in for the kill. Unfortunately they ran right into the trap. *boom*

Lesson to be learned here is that you should never run with knifes kids =)

That's why I mostly ignore civilians. Chasing them usually leads to bad things happening, it's better to stick with your squad. For some civvies, just shooting in their general direction is enough to scare them off. Another thing that usually works is pulling out your knife, and running after them for a second or two. Most civilians will start running, and won't look back to see if you're still behind them.

Someone did that to me yesterday. I was going around arresting civillians and out of the 13 that I managed to capture that game, he was the only one that managed to trick me.

Oh I fawking hate Civiebait.

It's even worse when the little ******* bunny hops and dodges your knife for a few minutes, only getting killed the moment some asshat with an AK comes up and shoots me before the Civ even hit the ground. To believe, he had the nerve to Tea-Bag after I spent 2 minutes chasing and killing the SOB, which only lasted that long because of lag, bad hit boxes, and horrible knife implication.

I'm awesome with a knife, I go to unranked Knife Only servers and either get Friend Requests (2142), people celebrating my death because they got my Dog Tags (2142) or a Kick/Ban from the 8 year old admin because his K :D went from 1:1 to 1:10 (2 and 2142)

Sometimes its smart to follow them though. As long as the ambushers are in the building when the civilian goes into the building just radio to your squad and level the building :)

Civies always pull out their grappling hook and climb a building. I shoot them.

Lesson is, soldiers don't get punished shooting civies on ropes.

Ive seen something like this before...mainly ZanderArch today :p

"Merlin, pick me up, and Ill give you intel on ammo dumps"
"k, pick me up at Village"
"oh, did my brothers shoot you Merlin?"

Funny part was, that there were two squads at Village before that and no one cared to take a look, if its an ambush...poor Merlin :p

Also seen a civilian once in the middle of the road, IFV comes, drives him over, Im thinking "wtf, what he do that for, we lose tickets for that!!" then it snaps to me, as the IFV drives over a land mine :D

I don't think you lose tickets fro hit-n-runs but I have done the "standon the mine" act and it is quite amusing.
Be Allah you can be !

Same as ladders because the game treats them as being in a vehicle.

That sucks... That was my favorite tactic.. They climb up the rope, almost hit the top and *WHOOPS* they splat on the ground..
