A good land mine trick for smart tank drivers

when you get the engineer kit [forgot what its called in PR] you get a clump of c4 and a single land mine. well the average tank driver can see a mine in front of him unless under fire, so most likely he will get out a remove it with his wrench. but they wont expect to find a nice clup of c4 5 inches from his face, and you pushing the great red button making him go bye bye.
How to do it [if you must learn if you dont know already
![Cool 8-)](./images/smilies/icon_cool.gif)
]
Place some c4 where you want your mine [doh] and prone over the c4 aim..... and place the mine IT WILL BE GITCHY FOR ABOUT 5 SECONDS and if you are lucky the land mine will be over the c4 only showing a little green and wires and presto [time to pwn a tank] if it does not work try again
Notes: if the mine blows up your c4 will still be there
if you blow the c4 [<ha ha] the mine is still there
I am sorry if this has been said before but give a noob his 30 seconds of glory

Don't engy have claymores as of .6beta? Claymores would be less of a waste to use, as claymores can only be used vs infantry, while c4 has a few other uses...

Er, what sort of a crazy tank driver would get out to disable a mine? Just go around it... crewmen should rarely leave their vehicles, because if they die, getting them back in the tank can prove to be a pain in the ***.

best thing to do is to hide C4 in thoose little trash/rock thingies. cant be seen at all.

The concept stands up to all the above objections.
Put the mine in the road and C4 in the grass, when he goes around the mine .....BLAMMO !
If you have a rifleman nearby ( always a good idea ) then you put one mine where it can be seen on 1 on either side in the grass.
Nice post...

What ive done since the existance of man is this.
Im what you call famous for this in Strk Team server Operation Greasy mullet
This is my mine trick
Prone crawling near a tank, put a min at front of him or back track wherever you think he may go. Then put c4 opposite of which side you put the mine. Put it 1m away from the tank's body.
Press c4, boom, he slides right into the mine.

Think, you can still "kill" the mines...so just do the vBf2 trick of throwing a hand grenade on the mine

you've got it the wrong way round... hide the mine with C4.. tanks are always rolling over c4.

Agreed. To damn hard to get the crewmen kit back and getting back to your tank after getting waisted. Besides that job is for infantry.
This set-up would work well if infantry were supporting tanks and a grunt went to get the mine up.
Yeah, like that happens

I would say that is on par with glitching RP's in walls. (glitching the wonderful BF2 engine)

not really, because boobytrapping mines with charges hidden under it or in the vicinity is not uncommon.
