Guide to Rifleman AA

I notice a lot of people don't use this kit, and when they do, they think it's no good.
The portable AA kit is one of the best ways to taking out air units. Enemy jets and helicopters have a much harder time spotting you, so it's not like a stationary AA or a mobile AA that shows up as a big freaking green box target.
Now, it generally takes 2 rounds to take out most aircraft, and unless they changed things in 0.6, the little bird can't be locked on.
If the aircraft is already taken a little abuse, one round is all it takes. And each AA rifleman gets 2 rounds if I'm correct.
When you see your target, zoom in and take aim. I recommend aiming just slightly above the aircraft so when it deploys flares it doesn't distract the handheld AA launcher. With fast moving helicopters and airplanes especially, Do not shoot at it if it's flying torwards you or if it's going to fly past you, WAIT until it flies away from you. This is key, or else the missile will miss and they will see where you're shooting from.
The missile leaves a nice long trail of smoke, so if they see it, they will pepper the area and nuke it into the stone age.
I recommend holding fire until after the flares have been deployed and are far away.
Make sure you have a full lock on tone, then fire.
Best thing to do is continual relocation so infantry and vehicles can't find and kill you. After a few aircraft kills, the pilots will get really pissy and probably request that the commander gets a squad on you. So relocate as often as possible.
Rooftops are the worst areas to be shooting from generally, especially in Al Basrah, since they often get peppered, and snipers are always watching. The best places are usually hills, so when needed, you can take cover around it.
I don't recommend every doing this alone. One shot will only piss off enemy pilots, as it will not destroy the aircraft. It'll just fly back to base, repair, and fly back into battle. Make a designated AA squad, and team up with another AA rifleman, and coordinate, so you both fire your missiles at the sametime, destroying the target immediately. Also, it's wise to bring either a rifleman or a vehicle or supply drop to resupply your missiles. Supply drops can be seen on the radar, so it's not quite the best idea, and a vehicle is pretty visible. So a rifleman might be best if stealth is important.
So just remember, aim above the aircraft, wait till flares are deployed, make sure it's locked on, and then fire once the aircraft is moving AWAY from you.
If anyone wants to add to this, go ahead.
Please, give those obnoxious pilots hell.
