I remember shooting a tank with a AT in vBF2 and that oh so rare event where the armor deflects the rocket happened and it flew off and TKed a friendly sniper. I was like WTF!

By the way, you can no longer one-shot tanks with ricochets from tank shells. So thar.

Heavy AT's like the Eryx and SRAW do NOT ricochet. Recoilless rifles and light rockets like the RPG-7 and AT4 can ricochet. Like Soucy said above, don't graze the side with one of the LATs or you may be in for a rough day with your team.

No derailing threads with Katarn's signature, it has it's own thread.

Well, the LAV25 turret is still a joke, as a few seconds of rapid Sabot fire from PLA/MEC APCs devastates it. Is the turret really that weak IRL?

Really? I love this avatar, can watch it for hours ;) Where is this thread ? ;) I want to see the SOURCE of this avatar ;)

Someone that know anything about that or have the right skills should make something like this (hit points for vehicles) for PR. I have for example big problem to kill CR2.

10 Sabot rounds from BTR90 to LAV25's back door can destroy it even without being damaged.
Also, CR2 spots:

Don't bother shooting the barrels on the back side of it! hit the area in
green, so back of the turrent, top of the rear of the tank, or top of the
side of the tank will do the most damage (green) - yellow os heaviest
armour. Blue is medium.

and the red tracks?

I think the track should be the most devistating spot, because once you hit those you cannot escape the barrage of RPG fire that follows

realisticly shooting the track should and as far as i know is a major hit. in reality a tank throwing a track mid engagement is an absolutely devistating blow. the tank is dissabled and can not escape or manouver to a better position to wait for the repair crue. i dont know about now days but back in ww2 tank crues were trained on how to retrack their tank. the whole operation on a tiger 1 would take about 20 minutes with an expertly trained crue.

I have heard rumours about that the Optical Sight is a weak spot of every tank in PR.

i'm not sure if it happened but i hit an Abrams with T-72 in the Optical Sight and it just blew up, and it didn't seem to be damaged

That what I call a Lucky Strike, but yea top of the Abrams is a good place to hit.
Wait till he's going down a hill then shoot ;)
Very often people think they get killed by one shoot when in fact they get hit by 2 tanks
(working together) simultaneously.
