To those teamkilled on BattleArena

So at 7:00pm this night on BattleArena, I was the unlucky teamkiller of seven fellow insurgents. The incident occurred on the main road of Al-Basrah, where I placed two mines on both lanes, expecting to take out an unsuspecting APC... Instead, several seconds later there were two explosions and a hundred and thirty-eight points off my score. My heart goes out to those killed, but not to the drivers. You all need to tell the difference between roadkill and an anti-tank mine! I have no sympathy for you crack-monkeys.
Also, you drivers will not receive credit as a suicide bomber, and therefore no 72 virgins in heaven for you...

This was actually my doing, we were about to lose and we had like 10 cars strapped with IEDs to rush into the VCP and we went up the road and started blowing up, there was 2 or 3 in mine which hit a mine in the road and a technical with us hit another one with 2 guys in it. Was funny but im sorry you lost so many points.

Yeah, this sucks.
Happens all the time, especially at VCP. My suggestion is to type out something like
***************************MINES ON ROAD SOUTH OF VCP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If they hit the mine after this, their problem (but your teamkill...).

It's fine. The game ended seconds after you guys got hit, so it doesn't really matter. Bad round for me anyway. Just a friendly reminder.

Thanks!

Hey Soulja!
Yeah. I was riding in the back of your truck tossing down C4 and reloading while we travelled. We hit the first one coming south over the bridge by the tank farm on the east side of the map and then we spawned back at the island and got a real convoy going.
I was so disappointed when the server shut down (or whatever happened - I lost my connection so I'm assuming that's what happened as the server disappeared from my PR list)
Anyway, I would have loved to have seen us complete that assault on the VCP.
What'd we have? Two, maybe three cars, the big semi with the bomb, some technicals. Geez, that would have been a sight if we could have completed it. I can only imagine the Brits looking at that and thinking, "Oh Sh*t!"
Good times.

This is why I never use mines on a server with people I don't know, or mines in a location where a friendly vehicle could plausibly be.
Maps like 7 gates are a fine map for mines if your PLA, Maps like basrah are a BAD map for mines unless they are placed on an APC or near their main....
I hate when you set mines, or hit friendly mines, and one of you gets kicked for neg score :/

Yeah, but the enemy dont have a big red skull and cross bones to give the position away, so its not quite as a excusable. Obviously sometimes the position of a mine makes it difficult to see and accidents will happen.

If the skull and crossbones showed up before you were 2ft from it it might help am little......
