The Jabal Al-Burj massacre.

Post by Guerra »

I was playing on Tcombat and I had a particularly good squad. They all had microphones and were extremely cooperative. We were on the USMC side.

So we all grab the boat and rush to west beach, take it quickly, grab a truck and move on.

We outflank the enemy at bridge, take out enemy rally points and hold it neutral until our team catches up. Eventually we fall back to dam, retake dam then move back to the bridge.

However, the bridge is under insane attack from the Northwest, west and Southwest. Eventually I manage to find the enemy firebase. Unfortunately, their entire team is on there, an APC and an AA battery. All of which are blazing furiously. Just when I thought we were going to lose the commander says the JDAM is ready.

I'd never seen one before, only stories. So I call for a heavy strike right ontop of the hill. My men and I are hiding on a rooftop with a perfect view of the hill. The APC is blazing away, the AA batteries, the place is just swarming with MEC.

I instruct my squad to hold their fire and watch the hill.

A few moments later, the biggest explosion I have ever freaking seen. It was just a glorious attack. It went from the loudest hive of activity to a cemetery. Completely successful.

Our team then pushed them out of West and East Al Burj, it was quite the decisive victory and perhaps the first time I've seen the Americans win so decisively.

I wish I had taken a picture...

I am not sure if I was in that exact game or not, but the same thing happened in a game I was in and I called for a JDAM and got it right on their Bunker/sandbags on the other side of the Bridge. We were US, and after it went off, I told everyone to charge and we took the Bridge. I know Mongol and I think Clypp were on my squad though.
