Battle For The Meaningless Hill's

I joined a server on Zatar Wetlands and joined the only open squad there was. About 5 minutes into join the squad the SL left and I became the SL (I have no problem being SL but my mic is K.I.A at the moment lol).
So as we moved out from one of the landing sites where I set the RP (remember this was the middle of the round) we came to that huge mountain type hill that had a firebase set up at the top, with a vodnik and I think an AA gun, so we set about trying to take this thing out. We did it the
1st with little trouble because there where no defenders, only problem was we didnt destroy the firebase completely and it was rebuilt soon after. The 2nd time we went about trying to take it out it had allot more MEC defending it. Squad size, possibly 2. We where getting pretty messed up going up this hill as there was very little cover on the way (just small piles of dirt). When we finally took out some most of the defenders we took the firebase out with hand grenades and light AT. Again we didnt destroy the actual base so it was rebuilt and the process repeated it self
Except this time we had an LB gunship for support doing gun runs on the defenders, so it was easier to get to the base this time around. When we got their me and our engineer needed ammo so we got ontop of the base to get ammo from it, as we did how ever...the LB made another gunrun and took us both out...So we started the process over one last time and suceeded in taking out the firebase for good. I then reset the RP near the road by another hill near the village. What we didnt relize was that at this point the village had been heavily fortified and by bunkers and had tank support. Soon after relizing all of this a MEC squad came down the hill tword our RP (they didnt find it for at least 15 min lol). Now this was some of the most intense fighting Ive ever been involved in in PR, we went back and forth trying to take this hill and keep it. At one point my squad member through a grenade to my left and was yelling over voip "watch out SL dont go to the lef!!" of course...with the fighting going on around me I didnt listen and I went TO the left and actually went prone over the grenade itself (lol medal of honor please). All in all we lost the battle of the 2nd hill due to the MECs armour support. But it was a very intense battle indeed
