Anyone had any moments being attack by A-10 and lived?

Heres my
On one desert map(I can't remember) me and my squad had to cross an open area gaurded by a tank and an A-10. My squad all threw smoke, we then sprinted, I was last in line cause I was the medic. 5 seconds later an A-10 came and shot at my squad, 2 men down. I saved one of them but then he got shot again. I left him behind. 3 of left, so we continue to sprint. 2 more men got shot by the A-10 . It was me and one other guy left. He then hid behind a small hill, constanly pinned down by the tank. We decided to make a break but both end up getting shot. All this happen within a minute.

Don't throw smoke when you are crossing an open clearing with an A-10 above.

Just like green smoke tells pilots where to land; grey smoke at an enemy position basically tells the A-10 where to strafe.

We were at north village and we just gone outside for the blackhawk transport than ''Burrrrrtrrrrttttttt'' The reflex was getting out of north village we had 2 tanks covering north and south of north village i looked back whole squad was dead with blackhawk and the 2 tanks were shot down the village was totally destroyed

Well I've had the US jet(not a10) come out of nowhere and start shooting me when I was alone in the middle of the desert walking to the US Armor base on Kashan (to blow everything up). I'm pretty sure he was cheating though, just came from nowhere shot me nearly dead on and made a few more passes and killed me. Really sucked cause I ended up having to walk like 700 m due to a premature chopper drop.

I took out a tank once with the MIG, I have no idea how.

I had a spec ops kit as MEc on Kashan. We were overlooking the north village when I see a green box on the friendly tank next to me.

"Uhh, NickO, there's a green box on your tank.. I think you're gonna die in a few seconds"

*silence*

"Do you see anything out there ZaZZo? Any targets?" He says

"No, but there's a green box on your tank"

Yeah, lolz, I've only been killed by an A10 once and yes, it was friendly fire.

@Zazzo, uber lolz man. Just reading that had me in stiches...

i haven't been killed by a a10 or frogfoot in a while..im usually the pilot

(keep dropping smoke it makes my job easier!!)

Me and another guy where in a tank on Kashan suddenly we get hit by A-10 we both jump out to check the damage. barely a hit. so me and me squady move thinking, he aint coming back however, 5 meters further on when my squady was just typing nice miss into the ALL chat. we get torn to shreds by the GAU-8... was a big laugh after he typed that xD

yer rollin along in my tank get shouted by squad mate that A-10 incoming, my driver stops :/

OH SHIT THERES THE F'IN A-10!!!!!!!!!!! HEADIN STRAIGHT FOR US!!!!!


raise my barrel to look at A-10, i get scared

I think it was that round where we had both the sniper kits and took shots out to 800 meters. If I am not mistaken it was that day we played about 6 hours straight and then another 2 later on the evening ^^

i was crossing a massive open space, so we decided that we would just peg it. So 6 man squad, and suddenly over VoiP i hear, OH Sh** A-10 COMING!! GET DOWN, so we all lie down and 1 guy dies. no medics so we leave him and carry on, strafes a second time, 2 more down, so 3 left including me SL, and i think A-10 has buggered off. Well it hasn't we were in a compound, and one of squad mates goes, hey look, a supply truck, so he goes and gets it. the a-10 must have followed him, and as we were ALL running to the supply truck, this a-10 comes and i just shout oh shite

In vanilla I shot down a raptor trying to bomb me and the planes on gulf with an apc rocket...It was hillarious cause the wreckage blew up right in my face but didn't kill me.

My squad walked in south village. and suddnely we heard an a10 moving.. SM: get cover under the bridge thingy.. we run under it a10 strafes the whole village for 2 seconds.. than when we got rid of the suppresion efect and we could look normally we looked up and the bridge above us was gone.. and we were standing in rubbish
