My Special Reality Moment:
Last night on Thor's Brigade. Map was Ghost Train
After joining I was placed on the chinese team. I spawned at the main spawn and picked a Sniper kit. Then I took the boat across the river and creeped up to the west end of the tunnel. Quietly I moved into a set of bamboo plants and observed the north direction, checking for incoming british. So far so good. Eventually after some minutes I was wondering why there was no brits approaching. Then out of the blue I heard british voice commands and rifle fire from BEHIND me (South). I was like WTF! After looking around I noticed a whole squad of them actually WALKED RIGHT PAST ME (5m) and was lining up at the tunnel entrance. Being totally scared because of the bolt action rifle and the close proximity of brit I did nothin except stare at them and not move the mouse. After they moved into the tunnel (now 40m away) I shot one. They all immediately turned around staring at me -directly..
I was too scared to even move the mouse. There was I standing (not prone) in a bamboo plant, with 7 brits looking STRAIGHT at me. After some more staring they turned away and walked down the tunnel. Then I started shooting, killing some zuntil I was out of ammo. Exactly when I decided to creep away a brit jeep hit me while driving through. I was badly damaged but not dead. However the jeep stopped 20m in front of me, driver got out, looked around and got back in then drove away. (Me playing dead in abush with pain sounds). So finally I srpinted away to the south, calling for a medic. My sprint meter was down so I walked slower. As I walked along the shore, a brit actually ran past me (without seeing me). I ran after him and shot him with a pistol. Then I got his kit and healed myself. After that anopth brit squad came running towards me. I started shooting the SL and was killed then.
It was just hilarious. Being mistaken for a plant from 25m away and at the same time having a bolt action rifle with scope zeroed at 600m.
