what are you using - a hdtv?

no a 30 inch Samsung Syncmaster 305 T ON 2560 X 1600 HDTV cant do XHD res becuase it has max res of 1024 x 1280 san compared to mine 2560 X 1600

I went on Vacation to newegg and all I brought back was a lousy 24" Samsung Syncmaster 2493 @ 1920 x 1200 with 99 fps.

What are your specs might I ask, so that I can write them down and beat off staring at them.

Awesome now i know how good can bf2 looks like

I think it goes beyond the maximum res Bf2 can provide textures for, dx9 is limited to 2048x2048 but I doubt bf2 caters that high.
Basically there is a depreciating return on image quality, still if you have monitors that large its usefull for spotting distant enemies easily?.

I wouldnt mind one monitor for a full scale map and one for the viewpoint especially when commander, bugs when it stops you walking, etc

Every time I read something like this I fall into a complete frustration as it reminds me how much my PC sucks

I just think that its a waste for a BF2 based mod ...

You could play BF2 on a 6-core CPU @ 10000Ghz, 500GB RAM 4x 99900GTRSI & an XXXXXXXHD 4096X4096 res monitor and it would still look ****. Not PR's fault, but BF2's.

Now, go do the same with ArmA/Crysis/other graphicly enhanced game, & then we'll see the true power of that beauty =P

this guy know wht hes talkin about its actually higher than bf2 will let you go and yes the engine sucks so it can only look that good no better than there pics
