[Music] PR 0.8 Soundtrack Preview

With the release of version 0.8, we have such a plethora of new music that a brand new PR soundtrack has been made. This is all thanks to two extremely talented PR contributors,

[R-CON]Alkali

A personal friend of mine from back home in Dublin, Ireland. He hails from an entire family of accomplished classical and jazz musicians. Alkali has composed six incredible pieces for 0.8. Ranging from the epic anthem "Heavy Resistance" to the Middle-Eastern inspired "Dune".

[R-CON]PirateX

The very definition of multi-talented! It turns out that this UH-60 Black Hawk pilot is also one hell of a composer. PirateX has contributed five songs for 0.8 (with more planned for future versions). The tune "Hunting Taliban" will be featured as the loading music for Korengal. It's very reminiscent of the Middle-Eastern Rock sound that accompanies many modern war films.

This first track you heard is the Main Menu music I wrote for PR. I had a few diferent ones, this one I taught sounded like the one

I love the action track that goes from 1:03. Quite a nice contrast to the last, calming one

Also the track from 3:07 is very cool.

Back in the days, a download was availible from the media site. We should, by all means, get that up anew. Sounds good guys, really does. I am just missing a bit more notable bass on some of the tracks, a little to, light, imo... Bass makes it a little more serious. Keep it up, and dont leave us hanging anymore - throw 0.8 to the masses!!

The first post says itll be available, dont know if it said that when you posted. But yeah, there will be a zip file of all the songs.

My only question is will this compilation of the songs be included... sure its simple, and we'll have the full songs, but I really like this as well

Nothing profound, but it flows nice enough at times.
