I thought i'd share this, as ive noticed more and more, mainly on the battlearena Basrah, set squads of civilians, if your alone and out in the open near one of these squads your done for as this squad member found out the hard way
Anyone else had a simalar situation ?

+10! Thats great! made me lol a bit. I played a great game of basra yesterday and encountered some civies! it was good fun! Chasing them down or sendin squad members after them.

I ran in a perfect ambush one time as well. Civie went in a garden and when I went after him there where 2 gunmen waiting!

I say take away the rocks.

Or give the rocks lots of deviation

Dont you touch my rocks!!

god thats great can't say I've ever seen a squad of civies operate like that....

or give the rocks a damage of 1%

I've been playing civilian alot lately mainly when my back hurts and I don't feel like maintaining ultimate concentration and tactical planning while playing. It's one of the funniest things I've ever experienced in a game. Yesterday and the day before it was total insane civi mayhem. I killed 2 guys with rocks yesterday (one of them a "head shot"). Day before I grapple assaulted the hotel which had a rally on top spawning Brits. I grappled up the side got on the roof and rock killed 3 of them with rocks (mostly head shots since I was so close and they were facing away from me). I swear I was laughing for about 15 minutes. funny stuff. Also been doing alot of "road rage" attacks which are hilarious. They don't expect some crazy civilian trying to run them down, lol. Then there's always the classic of luring Brits to their doom around a corner etc. Why do they almost always seem to fall for it? lol. Big time laughs

Another sighting of the wild civi pack. They are known for their ferocious behavior and seemingly fearless assaults on even the most heavily armored foes. When they can't kill they will harass and eventually get the intruder killed through his own inattentiveness of other more deadly equipped foes in the vicinity.

wow great picture of the wild civi pack, quite rare in these parts though they seem to be expanding with the help of wild life protection and mass breading. might have to cull some soon

Hmmm maybe these Civvies are the afghans versions of CHAVS and YOBS lol!!!.

Insurgents got it right, sending the vandals of society to the frontlines!

I believe an all civi squad on thebattlearena server is not allowed, as people used these squads before to help the British get more tickets by providing little resistance to arrest, thus disrupting gameplay.

Just don't have all 6 members go civi, two or three with guns will balance it out, and is allowed.

Went on a civi cull last night, was only 6 people on each side. They were busying climbing up the light poles then throwing rocks at us. Got sick of it after a while typed ' Civis annoy the hell out of me' then BOOM head shots on 3 civis...long respawn for me.

I only work in civie groups when im in battlearena. That screenshot looks a lot like me actually, that is a great place to overwhelm any british car, tank, apc, or solider.

yes not too long ago they made this change, but i usually don't get caught

I find it kinda funny how people can get so damn distracted by a guy throwing rocks.
Yesterday I found myself being chased by a scimitar and a chally for about 5 mins. They just kept trying to run me over but failed miserably.
Usually I just run past civies (unless I know he's rendered helpless somewhere in the open) - probably hurts em feelings not being noticed

I usually taunt a vehicle trying to get me with 'toro! toro!' or 'olay!'. Fun stuff, even if I may have spelled them incorrectly.
