Slick 1 and 2 in Barracuda

So heres the story, its me and Mace3000 in the BigD server and I joined his airtransport squad. Lo and behold how was I to know that we'd be the coolest squad in hueys

First we started out pretty casually with me and Mace getting a Huey Slick each loaded up with full squads. First and second attempts were hairy when we dropped the squads too close inland resulting in Mace getting jumped by more than a few squads, blowing him up while I got shaved but dropped a squad on the LZ.
We started discussing and going over the plan when we found a possible Vector route to a central LZ which we think would serve as a good Firebase so we picked up 2 squads and dropped them beautifully in a coordinated landing just metres apart and taking off nearly shaving my head on his tail rotor.
After a few succesful drops without any harrasment we started getting calls for pretty hot drops by Pirogoth which Mace wanted to go for so his slick picked up Piro's squad while I followed wingman. Piro wanted a water drop on the beach. So I flew in faster than Mace and then did a protective U pattern in front of Mace's heli popping flares to divert any possible AA while Mace delivered Piro's squad on the water. We pull out talking fast all these while.
Was really a vietnam experience in a modern warfare mod dropping supply crates in a firebase surrounded by jungles in formation. LUSCIOUS. I love how the new AA feels both with and against. And the new infantry changes means firefights last much longer so the squads we land arent dead meat when we touch down.
Thats just one of many experiences in Barracuda Goddamit I love you DEVS!
