Thought I would share a nice little mortar strike on a heavily occupied area of US forces in Operation Archer. It was not called by me but another squad. We were spawning at the mosque and they were overlooking us with snipers and HAT gunners. They had just moved a humvee up to the area when the mortars hit.

I missed the first few strikes which took out the two sandbag assets they had deployed on the side of the ridge, which held their HAT and sniper personnel. Fraps recorded my microphone's sound so you can hear a little background noise. Too lazy to take audio out of it.

Cool video though. Would this happen to be the other night when we were using the cache to launch a ridiculous number of RPGs up onto that hill? That was fun.

duh! lol Yes it is Archer. My bad. This is actually the first time ive played the map.

This was last night on one of the german server. I just joined the server, and the team really wasn't doing too much to stop them. Which was really frustrating.

First thing I thought was why the Humvee didn't move...

Was alpha squad claiming to be "Insurgent SpecOps" that round?

If so, that was totally my mortar call.
