[TASK] Dutch Voices
To the point, we need voices for:
- Commander
- Squad Leader
- Grunt
Basically, we need three voice actors, all with a voice of a mature man (so no room for little boys with squeeky voices ). If anyone is up for doing voice acting and is capable of recording in high quality, please step forward by posting here.
Don't be fooled, recording voices isn't a matter of just a few minutes!
Thanks.

Re: [TASK] Dutch Voices
High quallity voices needs a soundproof recording booth, my friend is going to get one but i doubt if it will be next year before its operational.
Unless one of our visitors here has a recording studio in the Netherlands i think we need to record them with what we have (webcam, el cheapo mic) and try to polish those files until they sound acceptible. we can allways replace them with something better at the time.
I allready did a few, still need to do more, i dont know if they were for CO, SL or SM, will check this evening when i get home.
We also need to know what we have to record, so all current BF2 commands need to be translated to Dutch and must be in Dutch military slang!
ANY HELP ON THIS IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!

Even the ones that don't seem necessary should be done. You'll never know if they'll get used in the future.black-wolf wrote:Ofcource some are from vbf2 and arent neccercary.
"Affirmative, a vehicle is on the way" didn't used to be in PR IIRC, till about 0.7.
"Requesting UAV overflight, over"... you never know.

Your absolutely right, and to top that we need to translate it into the correct Dutch military slang, any of our Landmacht employees want to fill up the blanks?Sgt.Smeg wrote:Even the ones that don't seem necessary should be done. You'll never know if they'll get used in the future.

Re: [TASK] Dutch Voices
There are about 300 voices that need to be recorded. Your list is too short, bw .

Re: [TASK] Dutch Voices
Give me a list of all the SL voices and if you want them in dutch OR english.
I guess i'll give a shot at them.
I have a pretty good soundcard and headset, and the room my comp is in used to be a DJ Studio its pretty low on sound.
