Hey guys i would like to point out a really good pilot i flew with in the havoc on Kashan Desert the other day ago. In game name is airwalk61, he got me to 16 and 0 we managed to take out about 2 tanks 2 apcs a fire base, infantry, and 2 command trucks, if you ever see him in game on a chopper map ask him to fly, he knows what hes doing.

So true, there is always someone better. As good as you get at something, there is always someone who ends up doing it better somehow. But it can be a bit random in PR to be honest.

Liar. Tell me what was your in game name at the time? Airwalk...

guys, the best pilot is teh one.. that listens to his squad leader... attacks when given a target or LAZE marker and keeps away from combat zone , when there are no targets marked up....

the best pilot is the one not with the most kills, but teh one who keeps the jet alive the longest.... I have played kashan desert many times and lead CAS squads, some of my pilots have lasted all round.. a full 4 hours (could be 3) and not a single death.. why because they stay in safe zone.. when no targtes are lit up... I dont like mavericks.. as they tend to get shot down very quickly

True. But sometimes it's fun to be RAMBO and see how long you can last. Other times it's fun and [better] as you stated to have a SL who lases and tells you what to do.

Rambo is good for Muttrah... Fly through the streets and let them eat your hydras!

only good thing for muttrah to lase: APC or AA... Everything elese is going to be pwned with 30mm and 38 Hydras right into MEC ***

I've flown with him. He's good, I'll give him that, but not the best. The good pilots are swamped by the bad, which earns the pilot community a bad rep. I wish there was some way to prevent the "w00tz w00tz I haz A-10zors!!!one1!" *crash* from flying while the "A-10 up for service, just call out a coordinate and what's there and I'll see what I can do" *pwnage* fly happily.

I don't know, but the only solution to me looks like making the pilot kit an unlock and making a relevant "test course" for it.
