My worst time to die was in .8, I was on Archer, I had just killed a squad leader and three others with an ambush. I quickly sprinted out of the town, leaving only footprints, and death. I congradulated myself on VIOP so my squad could hear me, I got on the mainroad, and mid-sentence, was hit by a car.

When you having 48 kills with a m40 and zero deaths on Operation Archer and then some one walks up on me and shoot me on the latest 10 seconds of the round....

I had one on Korengal too, I was the Insurgents, and I had just defended a cache, and I grabbed a US kit, stepped onto the road, and heard a distant chick and then the ground under me exploded.


Never take US kits. IED's will get you.

I was in a BH, taking off to transport this Recon squad, and they came in, typing for me to drop them off here. Which I did, and then, after doing a little recon of my own, I returned and they got on, telling the commander it was all clear, right? Wrong. 30 secs after takeoff, I was hit by a Technical, and I tried to escape, it turned as fast as I possible could, and shortly after stopping, I nosedived to gain speed, and I pulled up just before smashing into the ground, I mean, I was escaping with a full BH, tracers shooting past me. Then, I was brought down by an RPG.

i had been doing instartion/extration on mattura, i land, and a freandly apc turns and rams me...

When me, techno, and kanito were on kashan and there dead i go rambo though a MEC FB and when I get heath from them later, get killed by a tank. And my saying was:

"Wow I live when i'm not near you guys...."

Getting killed after defending for ages without any action

getting pinned behind a rock for an hour, then after all the e run out of ammo, an apc comming to help you rams the rock your hiding behind and kills you.....

i have problems with apc's hitting me randomly....

Don't we all?

And I'll have more stories in a little bit, I'm almost done downloading the Levels for .85.

On Kashan as MEC. I was chasing a convoy of 3 humvees and a truck across the desert in the attack chopper (they were trying to flank us). Their gunners are completely incompetent, and I'm having a field day. I roll in to hit the last two hmv's, and crash due to lag.

About a month ago on Al Basrah, I was helping a Merlin extract a group of wounded soldiers under heavy fire. The Merlin landed, and the co-pilot lowered the ramp, and I clambered on with the group. The ramp closes, and we take off. I have just helped a squad evac! The pilot performs an emergency landing, due to tracers sparking all around us. We land, and I decide to take the wheel ( ), I fly close to the ground, the squad still in the Merlin, and I begin to turn, and I turn right behind a Merlin. I'm flying a Merlin, with a technical infront of me!

I slowly begin to slow, and then, LAG STRIKES! But it stuck the tecky. It jerked forwards, then backwards, smashing into me. The entire chopper flipped forward, actually throwing one person who bailed from the chopper, around fifty feet forward, killing him instantly.

Yesterday, we were playing on Kashan, and me and a group of A-10s were performing ariel manuevers, dropping bombs on enemies in the process. I barreled to the right, and the wing was struck by an AAV, the engine caught, and I fell like a rock. I bailed, and deployed. I floated down to the ground, landing in the middle of a group of MEC scavagers, and then 'captured' me. They surrounded me with their guns, and escorted me to a building where they watched me. I quickly decided to pop red smoke. I drop it, and an MEC shoots me in the leg with a pistol, I run with the MEC due to not wanting to die that round, but as I turned to see if the smoke attracked anyone, I noticed a Cobra topping the hill. I pull out my pistol, and take out one of the MEC, they all turn to see what happened, and that's when I sprint away.

I get about fifteen meters away, before the Cobra and the MEC open fire on one another, I escape, and am stranded in the desert. I arrive at a MEC outpost, abandoned. I quickly sprint, but I'm bleeding out. I throw down some dressings, and get to the outpost. I get right to the FB and go to destroy it when the freakin' commander drops a JDAM right on my ***.

As a pilot getting shot out of chopper full of guys....this has to be the worst.

Another one, was getting hit by an A-10 in the middle of the desert on foot. Damn TK'ers.

after spending about 15minsutes working my way across korengal trying to get a fix on a sniper who keeps relocating,

i hear him shoot from a certain area and relay the info to my squad, the squad leader puts an attack marker on it...

i start moving up bayonet prepped... i see the rifle sticking out of a bush roughly 30m in front of me!

Bond and Fuzz decided to fire there RPGs in the general area of the sniper to get a lucky hit... but got me...

lol same idea as post above me. Playing Operation Archer as taliban, had a US sniper firing on the town in the centre of the map where the cashe was, he was using a building for cover, but it also limited his vision. So after oberserving him and coming to the conclusion it would not be worth while to engage with my ak, I decided to sprint out there, and take him out close range. I ran the 400M to the building he was beside, and swept around other side, knifed him, and took his kit. As I'm running back with his kit as my trophy, I get lit up by a friendly squad worst part is, they didn't even go get the kit afterwards!

When you get shot down by a technical carrying a fully loaded transport chopper.
