Custom objects and vegitation

Since a lot of the content for the mod comes from Europe/Asia or the Middle East it's going to be tricky making urban/rural maps that look "Aussie". If anyone has any custom models (especially the little things like gum trees, bracken etc) or knows where to get them post them in here. It'd be a big help, cheers

nice but ehhh, your going to have to redo your UVs and retexture all your stuff since its dose not looked to be skinned in the correct ways for statics...

The models are looking pretty good, not 100% about the trees thou thou I think that is mainly the texture that is making them look odd.

also in your pub scene, is that the vBF2 water tower shrunken down? looks much, much smaller...

love the speed bump sign ;)

anyways you can make most signs by just tweaking the current sign textures :)

you can find most of them in: \objects\staticobjects\common\textures\common_destructible_c.dds

Then just make a "common_destructible_c_aus.dds" version and reskin the current signs :D

Although there is no current diamond sign like you need what you can do thou is when making your "common_destructible_c_aus.dds" texture pallet, there is huge unused area at the bottom you can put your custom sign textures with different shapes onto then just make them in max, wouldn't take long :D

EDIT: got the basics done just need to do all the UVs and some extra details etc :)

well the pic posted above more had just dents in it, no real holes... Some had big scratches in the dents but ye, didn't bother with them since most of my refs dont show that. Anyways this is done now, here it is for anyone who wishes to use it (for PR of course, will need permission for anything else) :)

Fully destructible (falls over when its hit by a car or w/e) and complete with cols, lods etc, just place it in your map :)
