Why would you have a croshair playing a Realism simulator?...just aim and shoot using the gun sights like the rest of us 8-)

Thats a stupid answer and I hate you for dicking me around and getting my hopes up thinking that some one on this site actually gives a flying fuck.

Any more suggestions?

Edit: User was warned for "Flaming" an other user. The fact that users post does not please you does not give you the right of answering back in such a way on these forums.

I'll look into it. From what I can tell the crosshairs are actually there it's just that PR has them set to 100% transparent or something along those lines. There is no option in the UI to change it and I'm not sure if there is a config file you can change that would alter this.

Alternatively, it is possible to dump PR's UI and use the default one from vBF2. Are you comfortable with modding your game?

Thank you for your response, yes I'am comfortable with modding PR and PRSP, as this is an personal project, for me and me only, not to be released etc... If you can, please explain this UI?

It will take a little bit of my time. Don't expect anything for the next few days. I've got a marathon to run tomorrow, some accounting and programming to do on for the next few days as well.

If you want to look at it yourself it will be Menu_Client.zip that you're modding. Essentially you'll be replacing the UI that PR made with the one in vBF2.

Ah yes, I have a marathon to run right now, the marathon of running away from the little amount of attention paid on this board.

Look in the HudElementsGenericWeapon.con file

Menu_server.zip/HUD/Hudsetup/Weapons folder

Compare PR's version to BF2's file and it should help?

People do exist. There are people on the receiving ends of the internet. And while this may not directly relate to your problem, the more respect you give, the more you get back. Ergo, if you're looking for help, don't swear at people giving you answers, especially when they're doing all the work FOR you.

If you can't wait for Solid Knight to finish with RL before he pays you every single bit of attention, try reverse engineering this: https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f66-pr ... d-bf2.html

PS. remember to back up your files if you want to continue to play Coop games.

Crosshairs are for noobs.

And McLuv is certainly right, your boisterous resenting of anyone that doesn't do everything for you is weak. You could've done the research easily, yet opted for this route. So you really shouldn't be harping on people who have OFFERED to help you.
