Jabal AL Burj Recon and Demolitions

Post by KarateDoug »

Here's a tactic I have found very useful and very fun when playing as U.S.

Once round begins, gather a squad of HAT, ENGINEER and Sniper.

Wait at the carrier til the Heli's have made their first drops. This lets the Mec get out of the main and out of sight of the heli drop that your squad will do into Jabal City.

Get dropped in a good location, have crate dropped in good location, preferably near the bridge by their main.
Sniper and HAT move to highly elevated position. Engineer moves to the bridge and sets a mine and some C4.

Everyone waits, out of sight.

Enemy vehicle comes over the bridge and boom, they die cause the Engi blows the C4 and then returns to the crate to re-arm.

Enemy Engi comes to repair the bridge. Sniper takes him out whiles hes wrenching it.

Eventually they will bring a vehicle to shield them while they repair it.

The HAT take scare of that. It's all just a matter of repeating it all, but making sure to not be seen is the hard part.

Plus this is a great position for some Intelligence from behind the lines.
Knowing the enemies movements is a great asset to the team.

Nice tactic, only thing i would say is maybe just have the mine on the bridge? This way you can have the engineer watch the rear instead of watching C4.

usually i play the engi role. I just sit in a real low key spot, keeping an eye on the bridge. Its very easy to see from a lot of pretty hidden locations. The thing with the mines is that they're not guaranteed. It can easily be driven around or sometimes even over. its always a real funny thing to see a enemy vehicle do a front flip into the water if you blow the C4 early enough.. Although blowing the vehicle up with them in it is always preferred.

In all honesty I rarely will set the mine on the bridge. I set it on the down slope of the bridge if i do, just in case in case they do manage to get through they will be in a rush and not able to see the sloped part. Its rarely needed though.

The real key is to blow up the far end or the middle first. Once that's done you can go and demo more spots on it and it makes it a very long process to get it fixed for them.
