*Always fly low and fast, any other way is a good way to die.
*If an area is reported too hot, it probably is. The "Danger Zone was invented by Tom Cruise, who is an actor not a pilot.
*Dont try to land if you are unsure of a hilly LZ, try a touch-and-go instead.
*Dont spend too much time on the ground at an LZ, the number of seconds you stay is proportional to the number of rockets that will hit you!
*Make sure to refill your crates every time you return to main base, you never know if someone will need it!
*Always look out for requests for extraction, dont leave someone in the dust!
*Dont flip out or panic when AA locks onto you, keep cool and concentrate on evasion.
*Dont show off, Murhpy's Law states that as soon as you do you will get crash. There are old pilots and bold pilots but no old and bold pilots.

*Just because your chopper might be better armored doesnt mean your invincible.
*If you transport a squad dont leave the SL behind, that pisses the whole squad off.
*Dont use all your flares to escape one AA unit, you might encounter another.
*If your a co-pilot make sure you alert the pilot of possible dangers like AA or machine guns. Be clear and precise with your bearings.
*If you are about to fly over an area with known AA coverage, try popping flares the moment you fly into the open, even if you arent being locked onto yet. This saves you from scrambling last second to pop flares when the alarm goes off and stops the AA from being able to bet a bead on you.
*If you are mumbling or otherwise well coordinated with your team, try stagind "dummy" landings, such as when yo land at the 1st LZ, no one gets out, then you head to the second LZ and then everyone gets out. I have experienced several occasions where recon reported of half the enemy team searching for soldiers that were actually around 200m away.
If you are transporting troops and your chopper gets damaged to the point where it catches on fire, try to set down ASAP, before you lose any of your engines. Even if it means that you die, your number 1 priority should be the troops in back.
*Practice your touch and go skills, as not every LZ will be flat.
*If possible, avoid running the same transport route twice, because the enemy will know where to expect you.
*Despite how cool having LMG door gunners is, hovering around trying to pick off enemies is like asking to get shot down. Same thing with door snipers.
*Dont throttle all the way down when you land, for some reason it glitches you into the ground.
*Dont tail-sweep with your rotors (spinning with the rudder) while you are landed. I have seen many people killed by inexperienced pilots this way.
*Keep your spacing on the carriers. I have seen many a pilot crash on takeoff because they were to close to another.
*Dont rely on always having a marker telling you where to go, you wont always have one.
*Dont waste your red smoke grenade, if you get shot down you might need it.
Have fun and don't get killed!
